Kaakon Alueverkko is responsible for the delivery of electricity from the national grid to the area. The company manages the 110-kV high-voltage network in the Kaakonkulma area. The electrical network covers approximately 190 kilometres. Electricity is supplied to the Kymenlaakson Sähköverkko and Linnoituksen Voima networks as well as to the networks of other customers.
